At Ancestry Legacy, we have over ten years of experience conducting quality genealogy research. We have access to the fifth largest genealogical library in the country, Clayton Library, Center for Genealogical Research. We also conduct research through the Internet, using the most advanced genealogy software and resources available, and through local record repositories. Many other resources are available to us as well.
While we have the resources to conduct genealogical research in the United States, Canada, and Europe, we specialize in research in the United States. Additionally, our most highly developed resources are in Texas, Southern Alabama, Southern Louisiana, and Acadian/Cajun genealogy.
Sources used in our research may include, but are not limited to:
Compiled Data and Newspapers, Vital Records, such as birth, death and marriage records, Church records, census records, probate records, wills, land records, court records, military records, cemetery and burial records, immigration and naturalization records and Native American records, as well as many other sources.
